Monika and Ulrich Karl's Lighthouse Kaleidoscopes $95 and IN STOCK

Monika and Ulrich Karl's Lighthouse Kaleidoscopes $95 and IN STOCK
The lighthouse kaleidoscope shown above is a replica of a German lighthouse called Brest, while the one to the left is Pilsum. Below you will find the Pellworm kaleidoscope. Expertly finished in exacting craftsmanship, these kaleidoscopes are truly a work of art. We visited ther Karl's studio in Germany last summer of 2009 where we saw Ulrich and Monica make most of the parts for their kaleidoscopes. Some of the parts made are finely turned acrylics.

As you may know, Germany has two coastlines, one facing northwest on the North Sea and the other facing northeast on the Baltic Sea. We saw their love of kaleidoscope making which spans over 20 years. We find the Karl's work very precise and well made, as well as interesting and different.
