"Corda Lee" is named afterthe kaleidoscope designer, Corki Weeks. This kaleidoscope has evolved over many years, and we feel this is one of the nicest designs that Henry has designed thus far. This scope features a base which allows extra storage for two more cells.
We can custom order one in bubinga or maple for you for $750.
This scope includes three interchangeable oil cells featuring dichroic glass, buttons, and other various colorful gems. In addition, these cells are magnetic which allows a positive fit in the beautiful hardwood chamber.
The kaleidoscope itself detaches from the base so it is both a parlor scope and a handheld 'scope--all in one. This kaleidoscope also features a very unique lighting system. There is a button on the back that when depressed, illuminates the inside images for approximately one minute. Once the light goes out, it may immediately be turned on again. This scope may be displayed in the middle of a table without any cord attached to it. The kaleidoscope has a rechargeable battery which can be charged overnight with a detachable adapter.
This kaleidoscope has received many compliments in the Red Wing store, and is a favorite of many collectors.
